Semi Private Training

Welcome to our CHEK Training

Athletic Training 3

We offer small group/Semi Private sessions which cover a broad range of training concepts. Place of CHI Coaches/Practitioners are CHEK trained and we pride ourselves in looking after our clients on an individual basis. With over 23yrs experience coaching groups and teaching group fitness we believe it is imperative that each individual is catered for, steering away from the “one size fits all” approach. This is why participant numbers in our sessions are kept to a minimum so you don’t ‘get lost in the crowd’ and we can pay close attention to you.We will adapt exercises specifically to your ability and level of fitness, function and coach you through proper technique, execution and program design. This helps with injury prevention and training efficiency!

When it comes to group training, we have an eye for detail for correct movement patterns ensuring you are in a supportive and safe environment with educated and skilled coaches / practitioners.

Semi Private training

Prior to attending our Semi Private sessions, you will need to book yourself in for a Consultation and pre-qualifying assessment. The pre-qualifying assessment gives us personal time with you to discuss your goals and lifestyle; discuss any pain you may be experiencing, and through a series of assessment protocols for the spine, posture and core we can determine what the best class and exercise programs will be suited to you. We would love to hear from you to help you with any questions you may have on your health, fitness and wellness goals.

ELDOA & Myofascial Stretching: ELDOA Exercises and Myofascial stretches are specific techniques created by renowned osteopath, Guy Voyer Do.   ELDOA is a French acronym which is translated to Longitudinal Osteo Articular Decoaptation of the spine.  ELDOA postures are very specific compared to other techniques.  Disc compression existing at any level of the spine can be addressed through a specific ELDOA exercise.  ELDOAs are not limited to just the spine.  There are ELDOA postures for all joints of the sacrum and pelvis as well as the shoulders and skull.  Benefits of ELDOA:  injury recovery and prevention, reduced join inflammation, delayed disc degeneration, increased blood flow, increase in flexibility, improved posture and reduces stress.  ELDOA exercises also improve recovery time for sports and training as well as an improved awareness and overall wellbeing.

Here is what our clients say:

“I have worked with Cathy and her team for nearly 6 years now. From the once a week, total beginners class (after years of stress, work and no play) to 4 times a week and a totally reformed nutrition and lifestyle approach. I look and feel 10 years younger and made lots of new friends on the way. I managed to manage my stresses in life and have finally exhausted all my excuses, as to why things are just too hard. My Mojo is back with a vengeance, and nothing seems to be too hard or difficult to handle. I feel balanced, energised and ready to tackle just about anything and the bonus is, that it spills over into your personal and professional life in the most rewarding ways. Place of CHI is a truly inspirational environment in which you can thrive. All you have to do is participate!”
