Joint Pain – Gone!

I had heard Donal speak about health at a few of his short information sessions at Place of CHI and became interested in what he could suggest for me.

I am a 58 year old who has a passion for surfing and was looking to prolong that activity for as long as possible. I had started to get joint soreness and pain in my ankles, knees and elbows which was becoming more noticeable.

I was keen to explore the possibility of reducing these aliments through diet and exercise, so I started a 10 week program with Donal.

Donals’ program is holistic, looking at sleep and self-time, Diet and hydration, self-happiness and movement.

We started with a health appraisal and a 10 day lifestyle, food and exercise log to identify stand out causes of my concerns, this enabled Donal to focus and guide me specifically in those areas.

The health appraisal identified the major issues and together with the 10 day lifestyle, food and exercise log, Donal was able to provide some reasons for my aliments from the diet and exercise I currently had.

We then slowly eliminated from my diet all the things detrimental to my health and replaced them with beneficial natural organic foods, and juices and the correct intake of water for my body weight. Together with this Donal educated me and provided me an unlimited source of resources for my own self education, from articles, e books, videos’ and recipes.

I experimented with these and put together a 4 day rotation diet, adding variety where possible. This was a learning process of trial and error to test what worked for me.

Within 4 weeks I had noticed a significant improvement in my joint soreness.

Towards week 6 of the program I started a 30 day cleanse. I had never done this before, no:-coffee, alcohol, diary, grains, nuts, sugar. At the end of this my ten week program concluded.

The outcomes of the program for me were:-

  1. An amazing feeling of mind clarity and calmness.
  2. Increased stamina and physical recovery, I could not believe how much harder I could

    physically push myself and then how quick I recovered.

  3. I lost 4 kg, which I did not expect.
  4. The joint soreness and pain had virtually gone.
  5. My new knowledge and consciousness of the benefits of good quality food was amazing.
  6. I couldn’t believe how much I now enjoy preparing and eating great food.
  7. I have never felt better in my life!
